Our beautiful materials

At Le Tanneur, we love leather more than anything else. We even have a team in charge of finding the most beautiful materials according to the cut and the desired fall. We always associate the ideal leather with each of our creations.

For over 120 years we have worked hard to come every step closer to perfection.

We insist on finding the ideal leather for every bag. Pebbled, embossed or smooth ... No matter what type of finish - we master the art of the finest leather, the one called full-grain.

Full grain signature leather

Full grain signature leather

This is THE signature leather of our brand. A unique leather established through the know-how and expertise of our leather makers. What makes its singularity? It is made up of an infinite amount of tiny T symbols, embossed on the surface of the leather. The motif, designed by our stylists, is embossed using an exclusive mould for Le Tanneur. A precise setting between temperature and pressure allows us to control the depth of the grain, which will stay the same throughout time. This process is what allows a subtle and light T to appear. A process which delivers a finesse and resistance like no other, even to the effects of time. We are very proud of it !
