Suede leather (or 'daim' in French) refers broadly to both nubuck and velvet-finish leathers. Nubuck is a leather whose grain side has been sanded to create a soft, dense texture. Velvet leather is made by sanding the flesh side of the hide, resulting in a supple and smooth feel. Our suede leather is a nubuck treated with a 'denim' color shade, similar to classic denim jeans.
