This fall, we are heading to Japan to write a new chapter in our history.
We are setting up in Tokyo at Isetan Shinjuku for our first pop-up in Japan. This new chapter also coincides with the launch of the Japanese version of our new website.
It marks the beginning of an adventure filled with encounters with the local creative scene and new stories to share.
For its first Japanese location, Le Tanneur sets up at Isetan Shinjuku, in the heart of Tokyo.
From October 21 to November 3, the pop-up brings together a selection of iconic pieces and new arrivals from Le Tanneur. An opportunity to discover in Tokyo the leathers, lines, and details that have defined Le Tanneur’s craftsmanship since 1898.
Hortense, Émie and Céleste will be among the pieces making the journey.
This first encounter with Japan is conceived as an invitation to step into the world of the House.
Collections, new arrivals and stories from the House can also be found on our new Japanese website, letanneur.jp, offering a “Made in France” experience created specifically for the Japanese market. A way to continue the experience beyond the pop-up, explore our collections in greater detail and bring Paris a little closer to Tokyo.
Even before the opening of this first location, several Le Tanneur pieces had already begun their journey to the Land of the Rising Sun. Along the way, we entrusted bags to several Japanese personalities, who interpreted and wore our pieces in their own way, much to the delight of our design teams and workshops.
The streets of Tokyo offer a new look at our creations. A new perspective that is even featured in the pages of the Japanese press.
