This edit gathers our largest handbags for women. The Hortense shoulder bag measures 38 x 31 x 18 cm, the Elena grab bag 38 x 27 x 17 cm. Émilie reaches 35 x 27 x 12.5 cm. Emie has two large formats: a grab bag of 31.5 x 23.5 x 13.5 cm and a shoulder bag of 40 x 30 x 14 cm. Félicie is the widest, at 42 cm. You will find the exact dimensions on each product page.
Shoulder or grab handles
Hortense and the larger Emie sit on the shoulder. Elena, Émilie and Félicie are carried by their handles, and Émilie, Emie and Félicie add an adjustable, detachable strap. Elena keeps its large format strap-free, for a neater look in the hand or on the forearm. If you prefer a large bag worn across the body, our cross-body bags are the place to look.
Full-grain leather, grained or smooth
Full-grain leather is the top layer of the hide, left untouched, so it patinates rather than wears. Hortense, Elena and Émilie are in grained leather, which keeps its shape. Hortense uses a double-faced leather, sanded and sealed on the inside, so it needs no fabric lining. Félicie is in smooth leather, supple and light, and Emie combines smooth leather with suede split leather. Our leathers come from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG).
Looking after a large leather bag
Smooth leather is cleaned with a soft, damp cloth and a leather soap; a matching cream revives worn areas. The suede parts of Emy need a waterproofing spray before first use, renewed regularly, and are brushed dry. Keep your bag away from damp, direct heat and solvent-based products. Our renovating balm feeds and waterproofs the leather.
